Every handmade piece begins with an idea, but the real magic happens in the process. At Creation Life Ceramics in Jackson, MI each piece is shaped by hand using slab, pinch, or coil methods to create something both functional and beautiful.

These techniques allow for a wide range of forms, textures, and details. No two pieces are exactly alike, which is part of what makes hand built ceramics so special.

For many people, a favorite mug, bowl, or serving piece becomes part of daily life. It is a simple way to bring warmth, craftsmanship, and meaning into ordinary moments. 

Featured here are some ornaments I created. They are pressed with an American Red Bud leaf on the back and on the front I pressed a variety of florals from my garden. I glazed them in different colors to compliment your unique decor. They are finished with a leather cord for hanging. I think these ceramic ornaments would look good on your Christmas tree or use year round.
